OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group has been serving the South Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan since 1884, caring for neighbors, friends, and families from birth throughout the stages of life. Our caregivers combine skill, experience, compassion, and state-of-the-art technology to provide our patients and their families with the best possible experience each and every time they come to us for care. We are dedicated to raising the level of health in the communities we serve with education, collaboration with other health services and organizations, and the development of new services to meet our communities’ needs. The mission of Women in Philanthropy is to optimize the opportunity for women to help direct the future of health care in our community.
Members’ annual financial gifts of $1,000 are used in a manner they decide, to provide needed new services and technology for patients and family members at OSF HealthCare.
There are more than 110,000 visits annually at OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group. Since the hospital was built in 1986, the health care needs of our community have changed. Continuous upgrades and renovations make it possible for OSF St. Francis to accommodate the evolving needs of our community. Your gift today will help us:
- Remodel our space to create a more inviting, welcoming environment that makes it easier for patients and providers to navigate
- Refurbish our main entrance restrooms to accommodate patients with wheelchairs
- Expand our entrance canopy to better accommodate patients entering and exiting the hospital
- The OSF HealthCare Foundation helps provide needed services and equipment for our community. Donations to our Foundation help us build on the Sisters’ Mission to serve with the greatest care and love.
