Women Empowered: A women's giving circle that’s making a difference in the future of women’s health!

ABOUT: Women Empowered: Innovate, Inspire, and Invest, engages local women who are passionate about women’s health to fund and champion women’s services at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

Women Empowered, or WE, members innovate new programming, inspire new gifts and services, and invest personal funds and passion to promote women’s health. Through innovation, inspiration, and the personal investment of their own time and money, WE members are building an initiative for women by women.

BENEFITS: Members will have the opportunity to attend FREE classes and seminars of particular interest to women, to network with other women in the community who support women’s health issues and to provide input on the types of women’s services and programming needed. This winter, WE members awarded their first grant to support domestic violence training for front-line staff at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center and members look forward to supporting other efforts in the future.

JOIN: Individuals interested in supporting WE can join at several different membership levels. Organizations can also show their support in a number of ways. We are always welcoming new members!

CONTACT: For more information about WE or to learn how you can become involved, call Jennifer Sedbrook, Director of Philanthropy – Eastern Region, OSF Healthcare Foundation at (309) 665-4901.
