Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center (Jump) is an incubator where collaboration and innovation lead the transformation of health care worldwide. Jump is committed to providing an engaging learning environment and familiarizing learners with medical procedures in a simulated setting prior to working with actual patients. This allows learners to acquire a reliable skill set and the opportunity to master their skills through consistent practice.

At Jump, we strongly encourage health care professionals to work with us to integrate simulation into their curriculum. A collaboration between OSF HealthCare and University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP), Jump advances the Missions of both organizations.

OSF HealthCare Mission
In the spirit of Christ and the example of Francis of Assisi, the Mission of OSF HealthCare is to serve persons with the greatest care and love in a community that celebrates the Gift of Life.
UICOMP Mission
Lead Collaboration to Improve Health

Jump uses actual medical equipment combined with state-of-the art simulation devices and facilities to attract the finest minds in clinical education. Jump also provides the highest level of medical research, training, and innovation.

Simulation education is a customized experience for the individual, allowing them to safely make mistakes.  Innovation provides insight into challenges and opportunities for improvement in process and product technology.

In addition to its state-of-the-art facilities, Jump also offers an extensive collection of progressive medical equipment, task trainers, mannequins and trainers created or re-purposed at Jump by its talented staff.

This equipment is carefully selected to enable learners to have the closest experience possible to treating a live procedure, injury or condition. If a certain curriculum necessitates a type of task trainer or device not available on the market, the Jump Innovation team is available to create a piece that will fill the need.  This provides Jump an unparalleled inventory of learning tools.

Ways to Give:

Join us in transforming health care by making a donation to the Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center.

The vision of Jump began in 2010 when Chicago-based trading company, Jump Trading, donated $25 million to OSF HealthCare and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). The gift reinforced the collaborative relationship between the two entities and initiated a movement to transform health care.

In joining this effort, your gift will be used to fund education, research and innovation, and ultimately advance the longstanding Mission of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and OSF HealthCare, "to serve persons with the greatest care and love in a community that celebrates the Gift of Life," as well as the Mission of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, "to lead collaboration to improve health."

General donations will be allocated to the area of greatest need, but we invite you to explore the programs at Jump and give to those that strike closest to your heart.

If you would like to learn more about specific programs and opportunities to partner with us, please contact the OSF Healthcare Foundation at (877) 574-5678.
