*Someone from Volunteer Services will contact you to set up an interview.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Clerical Support: Serve as a liaison for patients, their family and as well as the staff.  Provide clerical support to staff of the department.

Hospitality: Serve as a liaison for patients, their family and as well as the staff. Provide clerical support to staff of the department.

Operations Support: Serve as a supportive assistance to the staff in operational departments.

Patient Care Clinical: Serve as a liaison for patients, their family and as well as the staff.  Provide support to patients, families, friends and staff of the department.

Patient Encouragement: Serve as a liaison for patients, their family and as well as the staff.  Provide encouragement and support to the patients and to the staff of the department.

Qualifications and requirements for ADULT volunteers …

…have a listening ear and loving, caring heart

…have a desire to serve others

…are in good physical and mental health

…are willing to make a time commitment

…can abide by the policies and regulations of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Volunteer Services Department

…minimum age of 18

…high school graduate or GED

…committed to volunteer a 4 to 6 hour shift/week for a minimum of 100 hours/assignment after orientation
