Saying Thanks for Special Care

At OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center, we often hear such praise for our physicians, nurses and other medical center staff. These professional, compassionate people care for the needs of the sick and injured every day, around the clock.

Often, our patients and their families leave the medical center wanting to say “thanks” in some special way, but often don’t know just how. Perhaps you feel the same.

Now, through our Saying Thanks for Special Care program, you can recognize an OSF Saint James department, nurse, physician, or other staff member who provided special care for you or for someone you know. By making a contribution to the medical center in their honor, you can put your thanks in writing and we will pass it along to the department or person that you identify. You may also wish to make a donation in honor of your favorite department, nurse, physician, or other staff member.

The Saying Thanks for Special Care program provides our patients and their families with the opportunity to show their appreciation in a way that ensures that future patients will continue to receive outstanding care.

Your personal experience gives you a unique understanding of the important role that our caregivers and facilities play in providing quality health care to our local community.

Gifts to the OSF Saint James Foundation may be directed to a specific program or facility that was paramount in your positive experience with us or that has special significance for you and your family. Donations are gratefully recognized and are eligible for charitable income tax deductions.

How to Give

Following discharge from the medical center, each of our patients will be contacted and will be offered an opportunity to participate in the Saying Thanks for Special Care program. Each patient’s decision to participate is a deeply personal one and will be treated with the utmost respect.
