Since 2012, the Morton Potters Basketball team has hosted the OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Gameball Run. The entire Morton School District and Bethel Lutheran School have been involved in fundraising over the years for this special event. All funds raised go directly to support the kids at OSF Children’s Hospital.
Each school within the Morton School District conducts their own unique fundraising activities leading up to the run. Activities like penny wars, personal student fundraising, t-shirt sales, etc. all lead up to the Gameball Run and Celebration during the Potters high school basketball game.
This year, the kids and families within Morton School District were able to raise over $100,000 for their Gameball run. This amount combined with the previous amounts raised, brings the total amount raised to over $400,000 since 2012.
This is an outstanding amount raised to help kids and families utilizing OSF Children’s Hospital. OSF Children’s Hospital is grateful for the support from the Morton community. We simply could not do all that we are doing without the support of our local community.
To help support the kids and families of OSF Children’s Hospital just like the Morton community, donate now. Your donations stay local and help families navigate their way through an illness or diagnoses.
